The front wheelwell trim panels on the Roadster are not just for aesthetics. They keep water and road debris from entering sensitive areas in the front bumper. They are also structural in that they tie together the bumper, crash structure, and front undertray. The OEM panels are made from brittle ABS plastic and have been observed to crack around their bolt holes. Our replacements in carbon fiber are only a few ounces lighter, but many times stronger. They also just happen to look nice.
